Synopsis
 Sometimes life leaves a mark…

Most days, Andrea doesn’t know whether she wants to kiss Tanner or punch him in the gut. He is seriously hot, with legit bedroom eyes and that firefighter body of his, but he’s a major player, and they can’t get along for more than a handful of minutes. Until now.

Tanner knows he and Andrea have had an epic love/hate relationship for as long as he can remember, but he wants more love than hate from her. He wants her. Now. Tomorrow. But the more he gets to know her, the more it becomes obvious that Andrea has a problem. She’s teetering on the edge and every time he tries to catch her, she slips through his fingers.

Andrea’s life is spiraling out of control, and it doesn’t matter that Tanner wants to save her, because when everything falls apart and she’s speeding toward rock bottom, only she can save herself.

Sometimes life makes you work for that happily ever after…

I Loved this book!  It was  a very quick read but Scorched is sexy, moving and a compelling! This is a story about friendship, love and redemption. Jennifer Armentrout is one of my favorite authors so when I heard that there was going to be another book in the Frigid series, I was over the moon! This book was unexpected when I started reading it but I loved it because it was so moving! You can see that there is a story behind this book and I can relate to this book because I know someone with what Andrea has.

“You excel at distracting me and driving me crazy.”

This story is about a girl named Andrea who always had a crush on Tanner but you would have never thought they liked each other with all the fighting that they are doing! One night when Tanner said something to Andrea that hurt her he knew he had more than just feelings because he cares about her! They go with Kyler and Sydney on a little trip away and Tanner decided he is going to change her mind by seducing her in a way! He wants to make her life better but later in the trip he finds out things about her that he never knew because she hides it very well! What Tanner found out made Andrea decided that she isn’t good enough for for him because she has problems in her life and she isn’t ready to deal with it yet!

“With Andrea, I never really knew where I stood with her. One minute, she was sweet as sugar to me, the next she had a bite more venomous than a copperhead.”

Then something happens to Andrea and it was something big which made her decide to get help…. She saw that she needed help and talking to someone; it can be anyone from a stranger to someone you love; that helped her! She saw what is important and this book was so compelling that I sat up until midnight to finish it, even when I had work the next day! As always in all Jennifer’s books her men are all swoon worthy! Tanner is one hot guy with a sweet side even though he was a player at the beginning when Andrea met him. She knew him before he actually knew her. (Read the book to understand) Tanner knows how to make Andrea swoon with all that sweet words and treating her like a princess, his feisty princess! He likes it if she is sarcastic and feisty and fights back to him.

“For once, I wanted to be… I wanted to be something more than just a hookup. I wanted to be… worth more.”

This book everyone should read, even those with depression because it shows us that you are not the only one struggling! This book let us know that there are people out there that can help you and no one should judge because there is nothing to judge about! THIS BOOK IS VERY MOVING and I would read it again! Jennifer you are a queen when it comes to your books so I’m glad that you wrote this book so compelling and moving and as always your guys are always swoon worthy! I think loyal readers of Jennifer’s books will love it, but also be surprised by the emotions evoked by the story’s end. This book has a powerful and important message and you go through a roller coaster of emotions!

Synopsis:16122034

For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn’t anything new. They’d been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the ‘man’ in man-whore. He’s never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn’t want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she’s perfect and she’s everything. But the feelings he has for her, he’s always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they’re stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor’easter, there’s nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.
