“You’ll always be Moon to me.”

This book was amazing. Most of you might think it needed more of Chase and all but because I haven’t read the entire book of Taking Chance (and most probably wont) but this book was absolutely perfect for me. I had so much emotions reading this book that i want to break my rule of not reading books with cheating in and I did start on taking chances but i stopped when Harper found out she was pregnant….  I have some rude friends who told me what will happen to Chase and I loved Chase more than Brandon already so i couldn’t read more because i know that book will kill me. That is why I’m happy this book is all about Liam Taylor and Kennedy Ryan! This book was hot, sexy, sweet and had me smiling like a crazy loon most of the time. Forgiving Lies is one of my favorite series so I’m really happy that we got to read more of the Ryan family!

“No one was ever worth the chase. But you? You will be worth it every time. I will always chase you, Kennedy.”

This book starts of with Kennedy waking up in a hotel room in Vegas. She had a very wild and sexy night with no other than Liam but she slipped away from him before he woke up and they never gave each other their names. They did think about each other months later even though they did not know each other. A year later Kennedy and Kira found out that they had to move to California because a very dangerous gang was getting out of prison and was threatening Kira and Kennedy. This is the very same gang that kidnapped their mom all those years ago. Kira obviously did not want to go but Kennedy and her parents wanted Kira to get away from her boyfriend for a while. So they moved to California without knowing how long they will be there but thankfully they had some family there. Their uncle Eli lives there and one unexpected thing happened; Liam works for Eli. Eli called Liam into his office one day because of the girls. Liam was suppose to help the girls find a job and introduce them to some friends so the girls dont have to stay locked up in their condo the whole time. Liam obviously was not happy about that but he got the girls an interview at his farther’s gym. Liam did not know that Kennedy was the exact same girl that run from the hotel room a year ago, until one day the girls went to visit their uncle at the work. The moment Liam saw the girls, he was so shocked he did not know what to do. He did what he could and talked it out with his dad, after all they would have seen each other eventually because they got the job at his farther’s gym.

“This? It’s Sour Patch Kids candy.” “Oh my God,” Kira whispered, her voice expressing the same horror as mine. “Yeah. Saw that. Why are they in our condo?” “Well, shit, are you allergic to these too?” Liam asked quickly. “You need to tell me these things.” “We’re not, but we might as well be!” I waved my hand at the boxes and made a gagging noise. “You need to get rid of these.” “Fuck no, they’re my favorite.”

When Kennedy saw Liam again she was so shocked. He wanted her so much but she kept pushing him away. Everyone knew she was fighting a loosing battle but Kennedy kept fighting it. She kept pushing him away because of a secret she had but she stopped fighting because she could no longer fight it. They gotten so close and became a very adorable couple but Kennedy did not believe in Love anymore. Liam knew differently because he saw her walls coming down. She was planning to tell him about her secret when her secret got revealed in an unexpected way. That secret nearly forced them apart…. What I loved about this book is that they did mention Chase, I loved Brain he was an laugh and I always thought he was high but he never was. He saw things before Laim or Kennedy did, he knew their feelings before they did and he is strangely very good with advise. I loved how close Liam is to his farther even though his not Liam’s biological farther. I LOVED LIAM….. The guy was the heart and the soul of this book…. he did carry the weight that he looks like Chase and he reminds everyone of Chase. Liam did not take that to well but he did work through all that problems….. and became just the man he was meant to be and Chase would be DAMN PROUD!!

Brain clucked his tongue. “If you’re asking me, dude number one, then I’d say my boy terrified you because he made you feel more than you ever felt for your ex-boo, And finding that, after being hurt by the ex, only made the fear of finding your true love much greater.”

I didn’t like Kira that much. She sounded to whiny for me and then what she did behind Kennedy’s back was so not right. You don’t just do that but thankfully everything worked out. The whole huge drama about having to send the girls to California.. the threats.. the fear for their safety… THEN ZERO!!! I mean I expected some kind of danger and that never happened. It would have been nice if Liam saved Kennedy from danger or I would have loved to see more of Mason and Kash. Some suspense would have been nice, you don’t just send your girls away because of a threat and let the threat just disappear like that. I don’t know how it actually feels for this book to fall short because I did not finish reading Taking Chances so I did not read when Chase died so I loved this book. This book is worth while to read but let me warn you this book is not about Chase but actually about Liam and it must have been hard to make this story about Liam if everyone wanted more of Chase…..

“Not  a dream, I love you, Liam Taylor.”

About the author

6436698Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
