In New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jay Crownover’s third novel in her sexy, thrilling Welcome to the Point series, a woman’s search for repentance leads her to the one man from her past she can’t forget as they join forces to save their city—and the explosive love neither can live without.

Titus King sees the world in black and white. Right and wrong. Which is why as a teenager he left behind the only family he’d ever known to make a better life for himself. Now a police detective in one of the worst cities in the country, he can’t deny his life has turned into a million different shades of gray.

The new criminal element in The Point has brought vengeance and destruction right to Titus’s front door, and the difference between right and wrong is nothing compared to keeping those he loves alive. To add to his already strained moral compass, the beautiful and mysterious Reeve Black has made her way back to town, and she might be as dangerous to Titus as the guy trying to destroy the Point because he needs her—in more ways than one.

Reeve knows all about how ruthless this new threat to destroy The Point can be… and instead of running away, she wants to help. She has a lot to repent for and saving the city, plus the hot cop that she hasn’t been able to forget might just be the only way she can finally find some inner peace.

With an entire city poised on the brink of war, Titus and Reeve stand in the crossfire—and it will take two brave souls to fight for the ultimate love.

Now let me tell you that Jay Crownover did it again! I always love coming back to the point and I was really super excited to finally read Titus’s story! Now I can tell you one thing….. Titus became one of my favorite new characters from the point! I liked Titus the most and I loved reading more of Reeve and I actually never thought that I would like her especially how she treated Dovie in the first book. Now I love suspense books so this one was just so perfect!! Jay just knows how to wow a person!

Now I was very apprehensive about the relationship between Reeve and Titus but Jay wrote this book amazingly! Titus is not what I expected from a cop but you would soon notice that he is the exact guy you want protecting your city! While his methods may not always be by the book but you can soon notice that his heart is always in the right place. Titus would always sacrifice his soul in order to save The Point but you soon notice that he carries to much weight on his shoulders!

I never though Reeve would come back into town after she left especially because she joined WITSEC but she returned against peoples wishes. No one was more surprised that Reeve decided to come back to The Point to help Titus capture the suspect in the latest murders going on in town. In the meantime Titus now have to make sure that Bax does not tear Reeve apart, Reeve and Titus agreed to have a fake relationship, hoping to catch Roark, the very man orchestrating all the murders and trouble. Roark is also Reeve’s ex. Titus acts that he can’t stand Reeve but that is actually for show! He has been interested in her the moment she walked into his office all those months ago. It is tough for him to admit it but he actually admires her and the way she stepped up to take care of herself. He makes a point to show that she doesn’t have to do it all alone.

Reeve and Titus are fantastic characters and despite them being opposites, they still just what they needed in each other. I loved how this story unfolded with everyone involved in this book. The point is a crazy and dangerous place to live, but they still loved each other in this place and you just hope that they can succeed in changing the place. The only reason why I gave this book a four heart rating is because at some times this book was little slow. One thing I can tell you this series is one wild ride from the start. I can’t wait to read Nassir’s story. If you haven’t read this series yet then I suggest you to get your hands on these books especially if you love suspense.

About the author

Jay Crownover I’m supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I’m an natural redhead even though I haven’t seen my real hair color in years, I’m a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I’ve been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other, I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that.I love to write, love to read and all I’m interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something.
Thanks for taking the time to check my stuff out….
