Okay first off all i loved this book. This was exactly what I wanted in this book. 🙂 There was suspense, healing, love and redemption. Although this book dealt with a violent and one horrific subject matter, Katie Ashley handled it with great care which made this book feel more real. Now these two characters had me feeling all the horrors and sadness as well as their laughter and love. now this book was so much more darker and grittier than Vicious Cycle but it fit these characters.

Now this book is about a privileged women that came from money that got herself kidnapped by a group of bikers that worked for one of the most dangerous people in the world…. the drug cartel. She soon became the second in commands favorite so she was his sex slave but none of them treated her right, they raped and beat her until she was close to death. Now how did Rev find her? Rev was going that way to rescue one of the bikers daughters who also got kidnapped by these people. Rev found Annabel in one of the room so close to death. He got her out and protected her. She did not want to seem fragile but she only trusted Rev maybe in the beginning because he saved her but later on you would see that he became to mean more to her. She started to heal herself but had the help of Rev. He did not figure out what she meant to him in the beginning and he nearly lost her because of his stupid fears. Little Willow set him straight, that girl is one smart one. I can tell you I still love Willow and wow she is smarter than you think she is.

This book is about survival, coping, opening up, trust, hope, and healing. It is told in both points of view allowing us full access to their complex feelings and fears. It is traumatic, emotional, heart breaking, suspenseful, humorous, sweet, and heartfelt with a rough edge due to the MC club and cartel involvement. I really do love reading everything that has strong Alpha men in an MC. You figure out soon enough that Annabel is stronger than you think and I like reading about all the strong yet girly women. I loved seeing all the other characters again especially Willow.

I love the tight nit family of an MC they are all just so close and would do everything to protect the people they love… I am looking forward to Bishop’s book Last Mile and more with all of these characters.
