When I heard about Wicked Reunion, I was super exited to read it. I really loved Wicked White so I couldn’t wait to read Wicked Reunion. Now this novel was told in dual POV’s between Jared and London. I am a sucker for second chance romance books. This novel also moves back and forth between the past. I don’t like a novel that jumps back in time that much.

London and Jared are truly and deeply in love and nothing can break them apart. That is until tragedy struck in Jared’s family which sees him going off the rails and he abandons the love of his life, his brother and mother and disappears without a word. Jared wanted to be a pro baseball player but we find Jared in the present a part of a rising rock band. The moment when their front man goes AWOL he decided to go make amends in his life. So he decided to go home to see his mother.

London and his brother, Wes, moved on with their lives but emotionally London is still stuck on Jared. Jared’s appearance back in town shakes things up. I liked the commitment and love that Jared and London shared when they were younger but I liked Wes more and wanted Wes and London to end up together at the end of the book.

London was weak and let Jared walk all over her especially when he was going through his rough time. I also hated how she treated Wes her at the end and Jared’s arrogance in the band made me dislike him since the beginning and I wished that changed but I liked the secondary character so much more! I wanted Wes to get the girl and I wanted him to be happy. But I’m also happy he didn’t get London because he deserves someone who will treat him right.

Anyway this book was okay and a quick read so that is why it has a 3.5 rating. It had a ton of potential but just missed the right mark for me. I honestly think that this is going to one of those stories that you’re either going to hate or love. While I did not love this book and only found it as a ok read, I’m still glad I checked this story out!

I am a fan of the Black Falcon Series so I was excited to see what this novel was all about being that it is in the rocker scene. This was an enjoyable read although I did feel frustrated with both characters. Even still I did enjoy the flow, pace and storyline. I liked that this book did not feel rushed to get to that HEA. Both of these characters had problems but both of them eventually worked through them in a way that was the best for them and each other.

Iris is this super sweet girl with big dreams of making it big on Broadway and Ace is a runaway rockstar. Ace ran off the stage the moment he found out his adoptive mom is in the hospital. Instead of his manager telling him he should go to the hospital, she told him to go on stage. He went but he just could not do it anymore, these people did not have his best interest at heart. He could not even do his own music. Iris is also the trailer park manager and Ace is now the mysterious new tenant running and hiding from his past. Iris is trying to figure out how to keep what she inherit and Ace was trying to lose what he had always wanted. There was a lot of push and pull between Ace and Iris. Ace knew he needed to stay away from Iris because someone might figure out who he is which he does not want. Iris on the other hand just want to figure out why Ace hates her so much, why he keeps coming her aid only to push her away the next moment.

First I did not like that Iris allowed Ace to be rude to her but her grandmother taught her to always be kind. After a while she did break down his resistance and he did end up being super sweet to her. Ace is a sweet guy but with a little anger issues. Together they were a super great fit, well until people found out who Ace was. Then those two became super idiots. The last part of the book was filled with tension I was rooting for them to get their stuff together and I kept hoping that every page I turned would be Ace and Iris living their HEA. I really loved the way the book played out. Great thing was this book was not rushed. Great thing is both of them got the chance to live their dreams and the ending was really great one for both of them.

Overall I enjoyed this story. If you enjoy beautiful romance stories with strong moral characters and no over the top drama then obviously you will love this book! This is one good book. Go get your hands on this book if you want an easy and quick read.

Those bitches were gonna die.

That was a horrible thing to say about my so-called ‘friends’—and I used the word friends loosely, because true friends wouldn’t ditch you the day of your scheduled road trip because they’d rather be sunbathing in the Hamptons.

The fucking Hamptons.

I mean, how clichéd could you get.

This was why I hated rich people.

It also sucked that I was one of those rich people.

Well, I wasn’t, but my dad was.

So by extension so was I.

When you grew up with a rock star for a dad, cameras and eyes followed you everywhere. It was exhausting.

I couldn’t just be Willow.

I was Willow Wade.

The daughter of the famous drummer Maddox Wade.

People expected greatness from me.

I just wanted to graduate college without slitting my wrists.

“This feels like when we were
younger,” he whispered. “Like no time at all has passed.” His words echoed my
previous thoughts.

Never Too Late is the second book in the Willow Creek series and I can tell you I loved it. This is also the first book in the series that has been turned into a New Adult book. This book had some great spunk and a nice edge. This book is still full on contemporary and also one of those cliché stories where high school lovers break up and then a few years later they find each other again and fall madly in love again 😛 but for me this book had a few twists. Yes it’s one of those cliché stories but I still loved it. It’s just who I am….. I love romance novels.

Now in my eyes this book deserves a full on five heart rating but I’m going to give it a 4 heart rating instead. Not because of what you think… I just loved the first book a little more and my expectations where set high for the next book. I don’t like liars so what Remy kept from Mathias was so bad in my eyes. I mean a person needs to know something that vital and he of course could have made her feel better, a person can’t go with something like that alone.

So you have already guessed this book is about two high school lovers that found each other again; but I’m still going to tell you what it’s about! So this story is about Mathias Wade, the singer of Willow Creek and also Maddox’s twin brother. Mathias was mean broody jackass who pushed everyone away in the first book and in this book he was still the same old guy but he slowly started to change when Remy came back into his life. Now Remy and Mathias so much alike in many ways so they fight like demon but when they make up, the fire ignites to burning point. Remy hated Mathias after he broke up with her. He told a load of lies to hurt her in the way that he thought she was hurting him. Let’s just say Mathias has a lot of abandonment issues and when Remy’s family moved to Arizona against here wishes he thought she was abandoning him. It took a while for him to trust that she won’t leave him again when she came back into his but her plan was one cruel plan… She wanted to make him feel the way she did when he broke her heart but she still loved him and could not go through with that plan.

Together they started trusting each other again and they become best friends once more where they can talk about anything to each other. Their relationship isn’t just a relationship it’s a friendship as well and that is what I love about a relationship…. You need to be best friends with the person you love. Though when Mathias found out Remy’s secret, she almost lost him. They nearly lost each other again but Remy’s grandmother and friends where very persistent and they made sure she never gave up. It just took a while for Mathias to get over that secret and now they don’t tell each other anymore lies. These two were made for each other. They understand each other and Remy is one strong woman who isn’t a pushover, she says her mind and some might not like her like that but she doesn’t care much about that.

All in all I love the book and the Mathias is actually a nice guy. My favourite moment of this book would be to see how overprotective Mathias got around his dog…. He can go real over board with his protectiveness. This was one fast and easy read and I’m sure I will love the other books in this series!

His voice lowered and rumbled against my body. “I know you very well, Remy.”
“Sex doesn’t count.”
He chuckled, his breath fanning against my neck. “Oh, Remy. We both know it was so much more than that.”
“Let me go.” I bucked against him again.
“That’s not allowed.” He growled.
“What are you going to do?” I taunted. “Tie me up?”
“I’m considering it.” His gray eyes were serious.
“What do you want with me?” I asked, my voice sounded breathless— not with want or desire, but with pain and suffering.
He leaned close and his delectable lips touched my ear. “I want you to stop haunting my fucking dreams.”
And then he let me go and walked away, like nothing ever happened.
Just like the last time.

He was just a boy.
And I was just a girl.
But if that’s all there was to the story it wouldn’t be very interesting, would it?

Up and coming band Willow Creek is back in their hometown for the summer. For the drummer, Maddox Wade, this summer was meant for writing music and playing gigs.

Falling in love was not part of the plan.

One look at Emma Burke and those plans cease to matter.

Emma is quiet and guarded. She’s still hurt from her father walking out two years ago. She doesn’t want to trust Maddox, but with his dark hair, smoldering good looks, and infectious smile he’s impossible to resist.

Together Maddox and Emma embark on an unforgettable summer of adventures and first love.
Everything is perfect…or so Emma thinks.

There are things she doesn’t know, and when she finds out the truth it might shatter everything she’s built with Maddox.

No one said love was easy, and for Maddox and Emma it just might be impossible.

This is a Young Adult book. The following books in the series will be New Adult.

*This book is a standalone within a series

“I was too quiet and different. I didn’t go out and party, I stayed home and read a book.”

Okay first off all I absolutely loved this book! It was sweet and adorable and I could not stop laughing the entire time I read this book! I started reading this book at midnight on Friday and when I started reading it I did not want to stop. I wanted to read further bug I forced myself to stop so I could go to bed. The first thing I did the next morning was to start reading this book and I did not stop until I finished it!

I sat with a grin on my face through the entire book…. Well up until the end! First of all you will know who Maddox is the moment you start! I mean you will guess what he does for a living and you would think oh wow another one of those cliche books with bands in but I can tell you that this book is beautifully written and it is a very light read!

“How have we lived in the same place for all these years and only just met?

Because we weren’t meant to meet then. This is our now.”

Okay so this book is about a seventeen year old girl named Emma. She went with her best friend to a summer fair but Sadie wanted to go listen to the music and Emma didn’t. They split up so they can have fun but in the end she could not find Sadie. Maddox saw her and decided to go talk to Emma. He was different and so dramatic! Maddox is the only guy that could make her laugh and he persuaded her to say yes for a date.

Their first date did not go as planned but he somehow got her to say yes for more dates. Together they decided to do thing the summer that they never would have done in the vacation. Maddox made her feel alive and slowly she started to have feelings for him but one day she found out that he lied to her. That lie nearly forced them apart but thankfully they ended up with a HEA after Emma got past all that hurt.

“The way I see it, there are always going to be the ones that love you and the ones that hate you—let’s face it, people love to tear others down, but as long as you’re confident within yourself then nothing else matters.”

This storyline might have been written a few times over but trust me you would not predict everything in this story! I can tell you this was a very refreshing book and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series!

What I loved the most about this book was Maddox! He was so hilarious and sweet and caring and so dramatic! Just the right kind of guy for a girl like Emma!

“Music gives a soul to the universe, Wings to the mind, Flight to the imagination, And Life to everything. —Plato”

Review: Insider (Exodus End World Tour #1)

Publisher:Vulpine Press
Genre:Erotica, Romance, Adult, Contemporary Romance, Music

The first book is not about Dare. It’s about the band’s bassist, Logan, and is entitled Insider. Yes, Dare will get his own book, as will all four members of the band.

She thought she was ready to rock…
Toni Nichols put her aspirations on hold while she raised her little sister, but now she’s reaching for the stars and living her dreams as the creator of a revolutionary interactive biography about the rock band Exodus End. Creating the book requires her to go on tour and immerse herself in the band’s world as an insider, but can she gain the trust of four veteran superstars who’ve been burned by the media before? Or will her dreams crumble at her feet?

He’s always ready to roll
Logan Schmidt was born an adrenaline junkie. He lives for the rush he gets from playing his bass guitar before thousands of fans. When he’s not performing on stage or in the bedroom, he’s looking for his next endorphin high in extreme sports. So what is it about the sweet and innocent journalist on their world tour that gets his heart pumping and captures his full attention? Is she the real deal or is she posing at being his perfect woman to get inside secrets on Exodus End?

They’re both ready to experiment
Though Toni was innocent the first time she climbed the bus steps, that didn’t last long once Logan set his sights on her. He’s so much more worldly than she is and she’s ready to learn how to please a lover and explore all the ways she can be pleased. Logan can’t believe his luck. Toni’s a phenomenal woman and she wants him to teach her how to rock and roll in the sack? Not exactly a burdensome task. Until she starts to get too close to his heart and takes her insider look to a place he never anticipated.

What are you going to do to me?”
“Lamb, the question you should be asking is what aren’t you going to do to me?”

This book was a fantastic start to the series. I really want to read a book about Dare but I really wanted to know more about the rest of the band. So this was nice start to a fantastic series. I absolutely adored the sinners series so I was over the moon when I heard about this series! No one can write an erotic rockstar romance like Olivia Cunning. This book reminded me why I fell in love with Olivia’s writing style and her characters when I discovered The sinners series in the first place. This book, this glorious, sexy and make you laugh out loud like a crazy person was by far one of my favorite books by Olivia by far.  I was never once bored in this book even though this book come close to 500 pages. I can tell you at times I wanted hit myself with all those stupid moments that Logan and Toni went through and then there where moments that I really did laugh out loud like a lunatic.

You’re sensitive,” he murmured to her belly button. “I can’t wait to latch on to your clit. I’m going to suck it until you come so hard you scream.”
Toni’s knees clamped shut again. he was going to do what to her whozit?

What I loved about this book was Toni. She is adorably naive virgin with cute miss matched socks but has a heart off gold and has this great habit in getting those around her to spill there darkest secrets, without her even trying. Maybe that’s because of her being so sweet and loving that the guys aren’t afraid to open up to her or because she has a heart so big that she feels how they feel and comforts them when they need it or that she never judged them. I don’t know but I like that about her.  I could also understand how growing up the way she did with a mother that’s more wrapped up in her job, losing her father young, and caring for her special needs sister would explain her current hymen challenged issues. She was just adorably clueless about everything, that couldn’t help me fall in love with her. She never felt like she belonged with her mother owning the company that she works at, the only time she feels like she belongs is when she can create the book she always wanted to do and she got that chance when she went to work on tour with Exodus End to write a revolutionary interactive biography about the famous rock band. This puts her in the sights of Logan Schmidt; adrenaline junky, manwhore, and the band’s super sexy bassist.

So whose idea was the cleavage cam?” he asked.
“Mine. It’s impossible to get anyone’s attention when Max is around.”
“Tell me about it,” Logan grumbled.
“So I figured if they wouldn’t talk to me, maybe they’d talk to my boobs.
Okay, who’s next?” she called out.
Logan leaned toward her chest. “I’m Logan Schmidt, and I’ve been a fan of Toni’s boobs for almost a day now.”

The connection between these two were instant and sizzling and soon Toni started with a lesson of a life time…..  I just loved these two together. They never failed to spice things up but with a signature humor to it all  and that made this book absolutely amazing that you could not put it down. You had to read it to know what happens….. Logan was everything I love about rockstar manwhores. Seeing him slowly begin to realize that his relationship with Toni is much more than he had intended. What’s that they say? The bigger they are, the harder they fall. And when Logan falls, he definitely falls hard. It’s impossible not to fall for someone like Toni. While Logan introduces her to the dirty side of things, she never loose her sweet side that draws everybody in, that side makes it hard not to fall for her. I also loved that no matter how much sex this book had (and it had quite a bit), it was ALWAYS sizzling hot and I never got tired of it. only Olivia can write this much sex scenes without going of track from the story.

I can’t wait to keep you in my hotel room for an entire day and show you all the dirty things I want to do to this body,” he whispered.
Eyes wide, Toni’s body stiffened. She wasn’t sure if she should be excited or nervous by the prospect.
“Your pussy tastes so sweet,” he said. “I’m going to start you off by licking it for hours.”
Okay, excited it was.

The humor is what this book from a 4 to a solid 5 stars for me… This book was so much fun and quirky. Logan is like a teenager with ADD most times, but it just worked. I just loved him to pieces. Miss Cunning knows how make me fall for the rest of the people in this book. I so want to read more about Reagan because only Toni saw how hard this life is for her right now. You also got some peeks from the others from Sinners which I loved, I hope I get to see more of the sinners.  Insider is a quick paced, funny, and absolutely sizzling sexy read that I loved from beginning to finish. Logan and Toni together never failed to make me laugh and I had this big goofy grin on my face the whole time I read this book! I also cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the boys of Exodus end; Dare, Steve and Max all have such intriguing history that I already know their individual books will suck me right in.

Ouch! There’s a gearshift in my ass.”
“Oh, sure, you barely know this car, and yet you’re already giving it privileges you won’t give me.”
“Not inside my ass. It poked me in the hip.”
“You got me all excited for nothing. Back seat?”
